“This thank you for your wonderful music is long overdue. Every year our school district has a special Veteran’s Day program and each school is assigned a musical number. At Hooper School (4-5-6 grades) we do your songs. One year we did “Light of Liberty.” The students were dressed in red, white and blue t-shirts and sat in the shape of a flag. Each student brought a flashlight- those in red shirts had red cellophane over their flashlights, etc.. The next year we did “Thank You Military” and this time we used your visual aide. There was not a dry eye in the room when we finished. The community remembered it long after we preformed and I still hear comments on how it touched their hearts. I just want to say thank you for all the music. People tell me they look forward to coming each year. The students love the music and so do I.
